In an interview with UNAPOLOGETIC host Ashfaaq Carim, Errol Musk discussed his background, political views and relationship with his son, Elon Musk.

Errol said he helped fund Elon and Kimbal Musk’s first company and reflected on his rise from poverty to business success. He also argued that South Africa has declined since the end of apartheid, prompting challenges from the interviewer.

The conversation drew attention for Errol’s defense of far-right activist Tommy Robinson, whom he called a “political prisoner,” and for his comparison of Robinson to Nelson Mandela.

The interview also explored Errol’s strained relationship with Elon, including Elon’s past criticism of his father.
