A suspected phone thief has been arrested after social media users helped police identify him.
The incident began when a man’s phone was stolen, and the victim shared the details and footage online. Members of the public helped to identify the suspect from the video. Police used this information to track down and arrest the man.
Authorities praised the public for their role in helping to identify the suspect.

The arrested man now faces charges related to the theft of the phone.
