Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu has reportedly taken decisive action by firing the entire electricity board in response to repeated blackouts.
This move follows her previous decision to dissolve the Board of the Tanzania Railways Corporation in April due to mismanagement of $215 million.
Additionally, the CEO of the Tanzania Government Flight Agency was sacked over a $49 million fraud.
President Suluhu’s actions demonstrate a commitment to addressing issues of mismanagement and corruption in key sectors.
