Actress Linda Sebezo Responds to Backlash Over Shopping at Shoprite
Actress Linda Sebezo recently became a trending topic on social media after a TikTok video by @unathi.hlongwane showed her buying groceries at Shoprite.
Many South Africans were surprised to see the Isitha: The Enemy star shopping at a store typically associated with middle-class consumers.
Sebezo, however, hit back at the criticism in a video shared on X by @_BlackZA. She expressed her frustration with people judging her choices, saying, “You guys always talk about things you donโt understand.
First, you said I was pregnant, then you said I was dead, and now you have an issue with me shopping at Shoprite.”
The actress went on to explain that she is a simple person who enjoys being connected to the people, which is why she chose a career in entertainment.
