A young pharmacist was shot and killed just days after opening her pharmacy in KwaNyuswa near Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal.
According to reports, Nomzila Madinane was attacked during a suspected armed robbery at the newly opened business.
Reports also stated that a cashier was killed during the incident, while a security guard who attempted to intervene was injured.
The incident left the local community shocked, with many expressing sadness over the killing of a young professional who had recently fulfilled her dream of opening a pharmacy.
Police launched investigations into the attack and searched for those responsible.
