Missing Vosloorus Shop Owner Mazwi Kubheka Found Alive

Missing Vosloorus businessman and spaza shop owner Mazwi Kubheka has been found alive after being missing for nearly a month.
Police confirmed that Kubheka presented himself at the Vosloorus Police Station on Saturday evening.
The 27-year-old disappeared on 2 April 2026, sparking widespread concern and protests in Vosloorus, where residents demanded answers from authorities.
Kubheka’s disappearance was believed to be linked to disputes surrounding his spaza shop business, with allegations that he had been pressured to hand over or sell the shop.
The case drew national attention, leading to the involvement of Crime Intelligence and senior government officials, including Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi.
Police have not yet released full details about where Kubheka had been during the past month or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
