KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi delivered a strong message to SAPS officers this week, telling those who lack commitment to public service to “get out.”
Speaking at a meeting with his commanders, Mkhwanazi praised dedicated officers who go above and beyond, encouraging them to remain steadfast in doing the right thing—even in the face of challenges.
“Don’t back down when you’re doing the right thing,” he told officers.
His remarks underline the need for integrity and commitment in the police service, particularly amid growing public scrutiny and demands for accountability.
