Chaos in Parliament as EFF Members Removed – 27 May 2025

Tensions flared in Parliament on 27 May 2025 when EFF leader Julius Malema and several EFF MPs were removed from the House after clashing with the Speaker during a Q&A session with the President.

The EFF raised multiple points of order, accusing the President of not properly answering questions and the Speaker of protecting him from accountability. They also questioned the presence of unknown security personnel in the gallery, calling it a violation of parliamentary protocol.

Despite warnings, EFF members refused to back down, demanding clarity and accusing the Speaker of bias and dictatorship.

One by one, they were ordered to leave.

As they exited, they warned that Parliament was being turned into a place of repression and that history would not be kind to those silencing opposition.

The incident highlights growing tensions between the EFF and the ruling party over transparency and democratic accountability.
