South African actress Xolile Tshabalala has shared her personal struggle with infertility, revealing she has a condition called fibrosis that prevents her from carrying a child.
She spoke openly about her experience on The Upside of Failurepodcast with Relebogile Mabotja, including a pregnancy she lost while working in Germany.
The 48-year-old, known for roles on Generations, Housekeepers, and Blood & Water, said she has accepted that she may never have a biological child and is now focused on the legacy she leaves through her work.
Despite this, she still considers herself a mother in a broader sense.
