Podcast and Chill Reshuffle Explained – Full New Weekly Lineup

Who’s In, Who’s Out & What’s Changing

The Podcast and Chill cabinet reshuffle is officially done and the new weekly lineup brings fresh shows, new hosts, and a major content expansion.

Here’s a full breakdown of what’s staying, what’s changing, and what’s brand new.

Monday

No changes here.
The flagship show, Podcast and Chill with MacG, hosted by MacG and Sol Phenduka, remains at 3PM. This remains the heart of the network.

Tuesday

3PM – Music Pulse (Rebrand)
“Piano Pulse” is officially gone. It has now been rebranded to Music Pulse.

The move signals a shift away from focusing only on amapiano to covering all genres: hip-hop, Afrobeats, R&B and more. The show will be hosted by Siso, Tanya Mar, and a new addition, Not Baloyi.

The addition of Not Baloyi is expected to bring strong opinions and debate, making Tuesdays more dynamic.

8PM – Onside Back to Kasi (New Show)
A brand-new soccer show focused on football culture, analysis and debate — especially township football vibes.

8PM – Read The Room (New Show)
Hosted by Londie London and Shamiso, this personality-driven show is expected to tackle relationships, lifestyle and trending topics with bold takes.

Thursday

No changes.
Podcast and Chill Celebrity Edition stays locked in with big interviews and headline-making conversations.

Friday

3PM – Kasi Jam (New Show)
Hosted by Dondada and Shabawama 2K. The show will spotlight township culture, street conversations and “Gasi” energy.

8PM – All The Smoke (New Show)
From the name alone, expect heated debates, confrontational discussions and hot takes.

Sunday

Spreading Humours remains, keeping the comedy and vibes consistent.

8PM – Be Friend with Mac (New Show)
A more personal addition to the lineup, expected to focus on deeper conversations and possibly advice-driven storytelling.

Binga Nation (New Show)
Another new Sunday addition hosted by Binga and Pinky.

The Bigger Picture

This isn’t just a reshuffle — it’s a strategic expansion.

The network:

  • Kept its core flagship shows

  • Expanded beyond amapiano into broader music

  • Introduced football content

  • Added new personalities and formats

  • Increased debate-style programming

The goal appears to be diversification and growth across multiple content categories.
