Over R450,000 Donated to Bring Late Rapper Bravo Le Roux’s Remains Home

More than R450,000 has been raised to help bring the body of late South African rapper Bravo Le Roux back to the country. Bravo, whose real name was Sinesipho Peter, died in Switzerland on 22 January 2026 at the age of 30.
His family launched a fundraiser to cover the cost of repatriating his remains to South Africa and to provide support for his young daughter. The campaign had raised around CHF 22,188, which is about R456,302, toward a larger goal.
The family thanked the public for their support and messages of love during a difficult time.
They said the money will help with bringing Bravo home, funeral expenses and longer-term support for his daughter.
