In September, Skeem Saam introduced several new characters, including a new Pitsi Maputla played by Lethabo Matsetela, and the addition of baby Oratile to the Maputla family.

Former Isibaya actor Samson Khumalo also joined as Bra Boikie, a bold and outspoken municipal employee who assists Kwaito and Tbose with their tender.

The introduction of new faces hasn’t resonated well with some viewers, but Skeem Saam continues to hold its spot as one of South Africa’s most popular TV shows.
