Rapid Response from Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA)

The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) swiftly responded to multiple emergency calls reporting rapid gunfire in the area. The calls came in at approximately 17:27, prompting an immediate dispatch of all available Reaction Officers to the scene.

Upon arrival, the RUSA officers discovered a grey VW Polo riddled with bullet holes.

Further investigation revealed that the father and son, both local businessmen, had just exited their hardware business and were in the process of driving off when they were ambushed by three armed assailants.

Details of the Incident

The attackers, who were driving a white Toyota Quantum with unknown registration plates, demanded cash from the businessmen.

When a scuffle broke out, the robbers opened fire, hitting the VW Polo multiple times. Despite the intense gunfire, both the father and son miraculously escaped without injury.
